Hopefully Chris Tolliver emerges to be the deep threat he was suppose to be.

I can't speak for the current rules, but when I played in high school, the LHSAA penalized players for celebrating anything.

When is the last time LSU got a State Champion high-jumper at WR?

We just signed two of them! :geauxtige

--Armand Williams was the Louisiana 5A State Champion in the high jump (6 foot, 6 inches) at the LHSAA Outdoor State Championships on May 08, 2009 @ LSU's Bernie Moore Stadium. His 6-6 State Champion high jump was two inches short of his personal best 6-8 high jump he had at the St. Tammany Parish Championship on April 02, 2009 @ Covington High Track in Covington, LA.

--James Wright was the Louisiana 4A State Champion in the high jump (6 foot, 4 inches, his personal best) at the LHSAA Outdoor State Championships on May 08, 2009 @ LSU's Bernie Moore Stadium.

Also note that Tyrann Mathieu had a personal best 6 foot, 2 inch high jump last month (January 08, 2010) at the LSU High School Classic @ LSU Field House in Baton Rouge, LA.

He has been timed several times around 4.5............keep in mind that QB may not have the best arm. It is pretty evident that the QB is not that great b/c they always seem to do the same play over and over again. A short bubble screen to the left.:tigereye:

Armand Williams lit it up at Emfinger's 6th Annual All-American Bowl Game Classic on January 9, 2010 in Austin, Texas.

In the All-American Bowl Game, Williams caught four passes for over 200-yards, including a 91-yard touchdown pass. [Of course, he was named Offensive MVP of the game.]

If there was any doubt about Slidell (LA) wideout Armand Williams’ big play ability, he took care of that in the Max Emfinger All-Star game a couple of weekends ago. ... [Williams] caught 3 passes for 210 yards and 2 touchdowns. He hauled in scoring catches of 91 and 64 yards with a 55 yarder non-scoring reception tossed in for good measure while showing off his 4.47 speed in the 40-yard dash.
