The smiley is nice, but the Saints ought to put the real Lombardi trophy on display at the Saints headquarters and allow anyone who wants to; come and hold it for a photograph with any players or coaches that happen to be around....now that'd be real cool.:thumb: |lombardi|
Did y'all hear the story about the team's arrival today? They estimate around 30,000 lined the streets, and Payton was leading the way, him driving and the Trophy riding shotgun. People started pointing and screaming, so CSP opened the sunroof and held the trophy up over the car, whereupon people pretty much knocked down the barricades to get up to the car and touch the trophy. I can't find the article now, but apparently CSP slept with the Lombardi trophy the first nite and even thinks he may have drooled on it. Kinda funny, but yet I am happy to see how proud he is of the accomplishments the Saints made. I guess he is really just a big kid who just got a new toy.
