Is Reed really what LSU wants this early? Something tells me his offer isn't commit worthy... If his profile is to be believed, hes 5'8 and runs a 4.6? That doesn't sound like the CBs LSU generally likes to get. LSU likes to get bigger CBs. Generally CBs need to be some of the fastest athletes on the field too..faster than WRs. I'm thinking that Rivals profile is off...because he looks like a good athlete. I'm also surprised Nick Shepard, Russell Shepard's brother doesn't have any offers right now. I know hes a little on the small side...but what I read about a month ago was he was around the 15th best player in Texas. I'd say that is pretty high praise. Wonder if his size is scaring people off.
Armand Williams played HS football at Slidell High School. Daniel Sams played HS football at Salmen HIgh School untill he was suspended for unknown reasons. They were rivals; not team mates. ST
Thanks Slidell Tiger, for clearing that up. I had thought the designation "Slidell" on this thread meant the high school not the hometown. Either way, I like to see North shore athletes being recruited by LSU because occasionally I get to see them play. By the way, if you're around Abita...stop in the cafe. I like it when posters or lurkers here come by and introduce themselves.
Probably. I think we'll land him though. Don't know what it is about Rasco's area...but recruits are always slow to commit to LSU there.
He is in good hands with Bryan Dawson and I assume they will take their time. Most of his family lives in LA but he has brothers in Texas with one in Houston. In the end I see him at LSU but I am sure we will get a ton of rumors etc...
