    @ Atlanta
    @ Chicago

    better than

    @ Chicago
    Green Bay (home game)

    I think not.

    Here's every possible scenario:

    at Seattle
    at Atlanta
    at Chicago

    or

    at Seattle
    at Atlanta
    at Philadelphia

    or

    at Seattle
    at Chicago
    at Atlanta

    or

    at Seattle
    at Chicago
    vs Green Bay

The last one - Izzy's option - looks best to me, too. Every option includes at least one cold weather game after this week, question is whether its Chicago or Philly. So might as well pull for the one that gives us a home game.

One thing that can't be underestimated, is the loss of Courtney Roby. Patrick Robinson has been playing really well in special teams, but Roby was more than just a returner. He was the leading tackler on special teams, and was a stud at downing punts. He is going to be missed a whole lot. I really hope Robinson can continue to play well in kick coverage.

Lovely to watch Atlanta go down in flames but damn it kinda smarts to think we were a Seattle and Chicago win away from hosting the NFC CG.

    b_leblanc That's just my game...

Yeah that really sucks. But watching Atlanta get it handed to 'em really made me laugh.

Same here. But that was the REAL Seattle team that the Bears played today. It took a near perfect game and one of those plays that only happens to the Saints to beat us.

What REALLY sucks is - if the NFL would awarded the BEST RECORD, like they should, instead of division winners with losing records, we would've had home field and a much needed bye to rest Jenkins, who we really needed based on Harper's performance, Graham and others and it's unlikely Seattle would have beaten us. Oh well. Cudda/Shudda/Wudda

We'll have a lot of money to spend on free agents by cutting Shockey and Bush (unless they take HUGE paycuts) and possibly not re-signing Sharper. We'll restock and make another run next year. Believe dat.

    Sharper is done, fanatic.

He was a liability late in the season and never recovered fully from that injury. He was two steps too slow when he came back this year.

They may restructure Shockey, never thought about that. He is on his last leg certainly.

Bush hopefully agrees to a huge pay cut but I somehow doubt it. In that case, let's trade him to Seattle and get a 3rd round pick. We can always get another receiving back with speed in free agency.
