i wasn thinking big. i thought all i wanted was a few small aprtmewnts in the major cities. but you guy s are getting me excited. now i kinda think i want to build my own tiny airfield in the middle of nowhere wher ei can teach myself to kill myself in little airplanes.
I get to thinking positively decadently. I had been thinking about buying Canada and then evicting the Canadians. Make a giant park, eh? My last idea was to buy some desert land in Utah and hire thousands of people to build a Great Pyramid of Red . . . with hand tools. It would be cool. And the ultimate anthropological experiment.
Oh I get that, and I would certainly spend a bunch more time enjoying my hobbies, and spending time with my family. I just don't think I could live a life that is entirely leisure. A little work to balance it out would make the fun times more enjoyable. They say if you eat enough lobster it starts to taste like soap. I don't want the things I enjoy to become so routine that I no longer enjoy them.
that is where volunteerism at something you believe in and helps others comes in. do something that counts and the only thing you get out of it is knowing you did something good.
Oh I hear you. Understand completely. However let one of my friends call and tell me he has a spot on the tee box in an hour and I'm dropping the tools and grabbing the golf bag. Winning the powerball would make that decision a little less of a gamble. Whats that ? I'm fired? haha shove it up your ass .... you know, something like that.
I would still work. I would work at movin my deer stand around, finding a new fishin hole, cleaning my guns, taking care of my garden and the such.
