well, if their mouths are writing checks their asses cant cash, they may want to rethink where they live.
that's significant that means the coaching staff is far from done regarding the role JJ had to play in the incident
i was talking about the "victims" tho, and their side of the story. the lawyers are just doing what lawyers do, smarmy as it may be.
not really. clm has to be prepared and that includes doing all he can to get lee and mett up to speed. all reports are they have lagged behind jj, but if it turns out they have to start/play, they need as many reps as possible before hand. even if jj is innocent of being a homicidal maniac (as is being portrayed) but he was in a fight, clm is mad enough, he may be suspended for a game just for fighting. i would expect some to be calling clm an idiot if he didnt give mett and lee all the snaps in practice to get them as far along as possible. just to be prepared for any eventuality, given an investigation is still ongoing.
Some will call Les an idiot no matter what. It baffles me that such a successful coach has such a short leash with the fans. I trust he will prepare his team well and get everyone the reps they need to give us a chance to win.
Even if Jefferson is cleared (which couldn't happen for months, likely) a coach would have to question his focus, steadiness, and distraction if charges are pending. I don't see Jefferson playing the Oregon game under any circumstances except complete and utter vindication by the police within a couple of days. And that ain't likely . . . it will probably go to trial.
I agree. I don't think I read one person questioning whether Les would do the right thing in this matter. It's what he does best which is fair punishment and leaving nothing swept under the rug (as opposed to Florida and other unscrupulously led schools).
