    huh, I didn't know Riley was with the Saints.

    [​IMG] I really don't like Erickson,.. one of my beefs is how he took all the credit for the beavs success. Then he quit, went to the NFL and made my 49ers even worse.

    Yes, your boy (well, he is in Oregon) was with us briefly. I believe it was only for one year.

    isn't USC in the PAC south and the ducks PAC north.
    If so each year you can either beat them down in the championship game or if you're in the same division you can keep them out of it.

    We are counting on the ducks to hold the line aginst the hated condoms.
    Speaking of line, send a couple scouts to Louisiana to get yourself some giant homegrown bad arse defensive linemen hell bent on killing a qb. A good ole fashion qb destroyer is all the ducks need to be one of the top two every year. A honeybadger wouldn't hurt either.

    A little something;

    ASU breaks off talks with Southern Methodist's June Jones

    ....."Leigh Steinberg, Jones' long-time agent, wrote on his Web site: "Just had one of the most bizarre endings to a set of productive discussions to bring a client to a new situation.

    Everything was set, few tweaks left and the principal decision maker yanks the deal (with) no real explanation."

    According to sources, there are no immediate plans to resume discussions, but it's probably unwise to completely eliminate Jones. There are few rules in searches such as this, and a disagreement one day easily could be cleared up the next.

    A sticking point Wednesday was Jones' buyout from his SMU contract, which is more than $2.1 million....


    ..... Jones was not a popular choice among ASU's fan base, which compared Jones -- fairly or unfairly -- to Erickson. Erickson never had major success with the Sun Devils, going 31-30 over five years ....
