1. Especially with only 1 game left. :hihi:
  2. yeah,... it's hard not to like him, but the NFL is probably not gonna give him much of a look, if his attitude doesn't 180.

He does have a year of eligibility.
  3. If he does get a shot, he'll be out in 2 years. Trouble follows, I know. :hihi:
  4. Even more than you wanted to know about Oregon

odds are, some of this is wrong, researching gets old,.. so I'm gonna wing it!

The area known as the Great Basin was once Pacific Ocean.

In California, The Sierra Nevada mountain range rose. In Oregon, and stretching deep into Canada, the Cascade Mountain Range rose.

These volcanic mountains created a new coastline, and the Great Basin dried.

To the south, Death Valley, the lowest spot on North America, is part of the Great Basin, as is Salt Lake to the east

The Willamette Valley, green, is bordered by the coastal range, and the Cascade Mountains to the east. 70% of Oregonians live in the Willamette Valley or close. It's elevation is about 100 feet.

The two mountain passes leading to the east have a highway elevation of about 7,000 ft.

The dark area on the map could be thought of as magma, which the Cascade Mountain's volcanoes spewed out over the eons. Much of Eastern Oregon was filled with volcanic material to an elevation of around 4,000 feet.

The west side of the Cascades is a lush temperate rain forest
The east side of the Cascades is high desert, arid, with much colder winters.

Eugene receives 51 inches of rain a year.
OIT, in Klamath Falls receives 14 inches of rain a year.

"The largest part of early John Day was composed of the Chinese community, commonly called Tiger Town. By 1887, John Day was home to nearly 1000 Chinese immigrants, who had been attracted to the area by a gold rush twenty years earlier"

    -----------------------
John Day is in the middle of nowhere,.. dry desolation, wide open spaces. Located next to the John Day River, it's the county seat, population about 1,700
