He also has OU QB Landry Jones. . .He's simply playing homer to the big dogs.

I asked him about what warranted selecting Landry Jones for his heisman watch when Jarrett Lee for LSU has put up better stats, has had a harder situation, and played in harder games on Tuesday when he was doing his live weekly chat on ESPN.com and he avoided my question.

He did however say the best story in college football right now was LSU's due to Lee coming into a difficult situation and winning.

First off, I love what Tyrann brings to our team. His level of intensity is through the roof and it carries over to the entire squad. The guy is all over the field and flies to the ball. Truly a force to be reckoned with.

I think it is great that he is being mentioned in the early watch list. However, he will have to be more productive in the return game to sustain a Heisman run. I do believe he has that capability, but he has yet to break one. I truly hope he does soon.

Of course T-Rex isn't winning the Heisman, but it's still amazing he lists him (not like he's listing any other defensive players).

The more people see him, the more they like him. A College Coaching friend was up in Dallas for the Cotton Bowl and couldn't quit talking about "that #14."

You look at the athleticism of this team. Baker in the last game, having his legs cut from under him and getting up to make the tackle. Brockers and the INT. The # of Sacks, TFL, etc.

I've never seen football instincts like Tyrann's.

He's technically sound in everything he does out on that field.

Pretty lethal combination for a football player to have.

This staff seems to find these kinds of players all the time, you never have to worry about recruiting. :tigereye:

It's amazing the talent that the staff at LSU finds out there.
