Last 3 games (including Clemson): LSU D gave up 463, 462, 445 total yards

Last 6 games: LSU D gave up over 330 yards to everybody, four times 400+

First 7 games: nobody got 300 on the LSU D

2011: only 3 teams got more than 300 on LSU: Oregon, WV, Bama

Put it this way: the LSU D would be ranked #100 in the NCAA if we gave up 445 yards a game....AND WE GAVE UP MORE THAN THAT OVER THE LAST THREE GAMES!

They have been abnormal this season, but in all fairness, 100 plays by an offense will wear the best of the best down.

Clemson's All American QB threw for 346 yards on us, he only threw more than that on 4 other teams this season: NC State, Wake Forest, Georgia Tech, and Boston College

South Carolina held him to 183, Auburn held him to 208, Florida State to 237

Part of the reason is because of injuries, part of it is because of an anemic offense that never gives them a chance to rest and a majority of it is lack of execution, pure and simple.

Excuses are like assholes, everybody has one. Either you get it done, or you don't.

Jordan Jefferson could throw for 300 with 100 snaps.

I dont put much on the D from last nights break down. They were just wore out. They were on the field for 100 freakin plays. I do put some blame ont he soft zone but Boyd was unreal last nigh with a lot of those passes. I think many of the games at the end of the year were on coaching, but thats Miles IMO. LSU lacked focus all year. We were a very undisciplined team. I seems like he is going through the motions right now, clueless to whats going on around him.
