That $5 snowball probably cost about a quarter to make. One without cream might be as low as a nickel.

Yep. No electronics and everything easy to get to. You could get right inside the engine compartment to work on it.

The guy I worked for counted the cups. His highest ticket item was electricity to run the little stand, then machines and maintenance, then labor, then ice, then flavor, then cups. I think I made 5 dollars an hour. But I it was all cash and I made enough in about 6 weeks.

If one was on wheels it would have to be somewhere that you could plug into with an extension cord where the property owner would allow for a small fee. If you couldn't put it next to a building Honda makes a very quiet small generator that would power lights, ice machine and a small window air conditioning unit.

My first car was one of these (very used). It had been wrecked once and had a short in the wiring. If you sat on the right spot of the hood the headlights would turn on... Ended up catching fire.

This is the vehicle I'd like to have. It's made by GM and looks like an El Camino but is only sold in Australia. There is a company in Denver that converts them to left hand drive for this country. Prices start at $30,000.

I always thought that El Caminos combined the worst of cars and pickups into one.

They should make an extended cab El Camino and build it on a truck frame.
