Two LSU defensive starters are battling injuries, and at least one and possibly both are expected to miss the Tigers’ game against Western Kentucky on Saturday, multiple sources told The Advocate.

LSU plans to rest junior defensive tackle Christian LaCouture against the Hilltoppers after he suffered a foot injury this week. Junior cornerback and punt returner Tre’Davious White might miss the game against the Tigers’ pass-happy opponent while battling a knee injury.

White injured his knee in Monday’s practice and underwent an MRI, a source said. Those results are unknown.
  2. Wish I would have known this before I predicted White would return all punts.

Sucks to lose the best corner we have against a pass happy offense.
  3. Next man up.

  4. Anyone heard anything on these 2 and JD Moore?
  5. White and Moore should be good to go.
  6. Heard Lacouture showed up with no walking boot or limp yesterday.
  7. Great news yall, Fourenette has only rushed for measly 180 yard games without Moore. ;)
  8. And 150
  9. I don;t think they would have taken the redshirt off Ducre or moved a linebacker to fullback if they thought Moore was going to be back soon.
