Add one more ugly the way I felt watching that pitiful performance after busting my ass to complete all my honey dos in time to watch the game.

 

Got to be kidding me, how many did you have to do? Roof the house or something?

 

Well, this weekend, I have to put up three Christmas trees and pack my 10-year-old and myself for 5th grade camp. Oh, and go see my school's rendition of "The Little Mermaid." But I will have my rear end on the couch for the Arkansas game.

All of my "honey dos" for this weekend are self-imposed.

This is self inflicted. There is absolutely no reason for any Christmas stuff to be out prior to Thanksgiving. I'm sure it has some long drawn out excuse that involves pointe shoes and some ballet class in FW or whatever the case. Bottom line, self inflicted. Enjoy

 

I'm also the one doing them, pretty much by myself.

 

I leave for Thanksgiving for a week, I'll be doing laundry all next weekend (along with tickets to a musical in Dallas at Fair Park.) I hate coming back from Thanksgiving without have my trees up and decorated.

I don't worry about the people who bitch about putting Christmas crap out before Thanksgiving. Whatever...

 

Isn't it a bit early for Christmas trees? Shouldn't you be shopping for turkey
