    Your connection will be so slow that it will take a long time for a web page to load. Like with dialup. Like they do with smartphone data plans now. Once you've reached the arbitrary data limit your carrier assigns you everything slows down until the beginning of the next month

    They did that pre 2015 and past it. Cable companies had data limits still in place after NN. Just depends on the city you live in.

    You still haven't defined what you think slow is. I average 50 Mbps for wireless which is OK for me.

    that's fast, about like mine,.. I've got Charter/Spectrum Cable,.. I wonder if this topic will change my situation?

    That's pretty fast but if your provider is legally able to do so they might lower your speed to something like 10 mbps when you reach your data cap and you will have to wait until the beginning of the next month to get 50 mbps again.

    I've got Xfinity. I would have to see a significant rate increase before I did anything.
