Hell, that's happening already (the faggotry/fuckbrainism majors). That's why they can't pay back their student loans; they run up a major college debt studying gender studies and then find out no one wants to pay them a decent salary for their knowledge of gender studies. The more I read and think about the problem, the more I believe the smartest man in America might be Mike Rowe. We need to stop selling kids on the myth that a 4-year university degree is the only path to success. The technical college-trade schools need to be emphasized; get young people to work in the skilled labor fields where this country actually needs them. If I had known at 18 what I know now, I'd have gone to a 2-year trade school and learned to be a carpenter.
Or an Electrician. With my own company. That seems like a great gig. .....but i dont know about Painters...knew of 2 that died in their 40s /50s of heart attacks - probably just an anomaly.
My brother in law is an electrician, and has nearly gotten himself killed a couple of times. Of course, nail guns are one of the leading causes of ER visits, so maybe not carpenter. I AM a good painter.
I’m confident that the more WORTHLESS the degree, the more complaining. OBTW, many talking heads, that are chairs of such departments appear as fools when offering comments or commentary. I taught 8th grade 11 years and raised 2 daughters. If we could outlaw three words: WANT, LIKE, BUT we would go a long long way toward fixing student debt problems and many others.
