Joseph supposedly had a contentious meeting with somebody in the administration that none of the coaching staff was aware of. Joseph tweeted his intention to enter the transfer portal without first telling coaches or eeven his family.
I am saying this is inaccurate. That's not how the process works. It's my understanding that the athlete notifies the school and the school puts them in the portal.
No longer matters. What matters is, "He's not going anywhere." (quoting nola.com, quoting his father)
He may not be but I think getting the facts about cases like this does matter if a rumor wrongly casts either athlete or school in a bad light.
Serious question regarding the debate cause I think you both may be correct. I took this at face value. He tweeted his intention to enter not that he entered the portal.
Good point and I agree. I guess the tweet in and of itself is notification although probably not what the staff would have preferred.
