1. OFFENSE POSITIVES
    Max is getting better.
    Brian Thomas is getting better
    Peetz is getting in sync.
    Hardly any penalties
    OFFENSE NEGATIVES
    OL sub par
    Still some dropped passes
Need to throw to Kole Taylor more
Put Nuss in for a change of pace and run some options
    Wildcat now and then?
    DEFENSIVE POSITIVES
Deronte's scheme worked frustrating to watch but correct scheme.
Flott is becoming a honey badger type DB
    Baskerville is a baller
    Our DT's are becoming dominate
Won without Stingley and Anthony. Subs represented.
Tackling has improved by leaps and bounds from last year
    DEFENSIVE NEGATIVES
Way way way too many busted coverages
Too many injuries and others playing hurt

  2. Flott def stood out

  3. Defense looked great for 3 quarters

O Line is the worst I’ve ever seen at LSU

Max is getting better, his numbers look good but can’t help but feel like something is missing. Like a killer instinct or something. I feel that way about this entire team.

Felt like we played not to lose. This team just plays very a insecure style of football.

  4. Max looks solid (if you attribute some of his miscues to the horrid OL), #6 struggled, lack of running game hurts the OL/passing game, which hurts the running game even more. The state of the OL should have been fixed by now, O has failed here too long. TDP looked better than the young guys, they’re all suffering from shit OL play.

I don’t think we should put Nuss in unless we’re up. MJ is performing much better (if he were struggling that’s a different story). I like the idea of wildcat or more creative run plays, but in all I think the OC has made strides.

Defense was on the field too long (which really goes back to OL). Looks like we can absorb the loss of Stingley (if hurt I hope he gets right, but this feels like a business decision; I’ll eat crow if he comes back this season and balls out; if we are fine without him, might not help his draft stock). Depth is pretty good, DC seems to be coming along, glad the staff recognized the need to change schemes for Leach. Wish we would have held on rather than letting MOOU think they had a chance.

Tackling has improved in game 3-4 from game 1-2 this season; night and day.

Feel like we’re on the upswing going into the AU game.

    Good thread caca.

  5. Max Johnson is a better QB than both Bo Nix and TJ Finley. Ask any Auburn fan. They would gladly trade QBs with LSU.

Auburn needed a miracle to beat their cupcake yesterday.

  6. Who is the LT?

Max growing more and using the ‘burrow shuffle’ side stepping, and stepping up in the pocket

d played disciplined until they didn’t

    WR drops……

a win is a win but it didn’t feel good…..

  7. D played well until they got tired. Look at TOP. It needs more help from the Offense

  8. fatigue makes cowards of us all….

someone said that, not sure who but it’s so.

when you get tired, you lose focus on the discipline of the task and focus on the discomfort, makes you not get your hands up, makes you round off your gap assignment, etc…..

another step in the right direction but just like playing through the whistle, this group has to get its swagger back and get back to LSU defense… 4 quarters of it.

  9. Don't agree about Max' not having a killer instinct. He showed that against both Fla and Ole Miss last year. Maybe what you are seeing has more to do with a sub par OL, new recievers and a new OC.

  10. max just needs to improve his arm strength… he played well yesterday against a ton of blitzes
