Just looking at the schedule it looks like we're gonna get a lot of TV time. MSU and Tulane are going to be ESPN. Florida, Auburn, Alabama, and Arkansas are all going to be national games (CBS/ESPN, who knows). I imagine USC could easily be a national game. Ole Miss will at least be LF Sports. That leaves LaTech, Middle Tenn, and Kentucky. Maybe Kentucky makes LF but it didn't last year if I remember correctly. Still that's 9 of 12, I'd say thats pretty good. Other than ND how many other teams get that many? This look about right? If so, that looks good to me! I wish I could say I could be in attendance at all the home games but I know I can't already.
Kentucky's tough games before us are Louisville, The Cocks, and The Hogs. If they can win at least one of those I think that game will be at least on LF. Since we play them before Ole Miss I think this game has a better shot to land on LF. When was the last time ESPN or any other national media televised LSU-Tulane? They didn't last year.
ESPN wants to play up this whole Katrina/New Orleans thing one more time. Glad I'll be at the game so I won't have to watch it.
Okay. I figured that would be the reason it would get televised. I just hadn't heard any announcement regarding it.
boooo home day games, booooooo!! i can't tailgate for 12 hours for a 2:30 game!!!!!!! boooooooooo cbs, yea espn!!!!!!!!
At the very least all games should be on tigervision and PPV out of state. If I remember correctly, the only reason Kentucky had no TV last year was because a hold option was placed on the game and when the networks finally passed there was not enough time for tigervision to get set up.
