Damn that sucks. I didn't think it would be that tough, but I guess it is. I'm trying to get my 2 moved from the West Upper to the South Endzone.

I don't get it... so why the hell would I want to be member of TAF, an org that I've been giving money to already, just to end up paying more than someone else who goes through LSU? I'm all for contributing to our athletics, but if TAF is thinking I'm going to play ball like that then I have a little news for them come renewal time. They'd do well to have a PR rep on this forum as I've seen others bashing them. I always wondered why, please tell me I'm misunderstanding this whole thing. I guess I would like to know if I'm on a waiting list for TAF tickets that are going to cost me $200 or LSU tickets that will cost me $105?

I thought all season tickets from now on would be through TAF. don't quote me though.
You guys should have bought season tix in the 90's when we were losing. Finding a seat then was EASY!

well i have season tickets from taf in the east upper that costs 50 per seat plus the season ticket costs. my cousin has south endzone seats from taf that costs him 200 per seat plus the season ticket costs and south endzone seats from lsu that costs him 105 per seat plus the season ticket costs. I understand that it is frustrating cause you donate and then have to pay extra for seats. Be happy thats all you have to pay because alot of schools in the sec are very ridiculous. Have a friend that went to florida and he said that he started donating 2 years ago to florida and was told that he had to donate in the $3900 or above level to even be considered in getting tickets. I know someone that has tennessee season tickets and he donates about $2500 for endzone seats. So ya i know its frustrating but LSU is far better than alot of schools. Remember what makes the world go around. Sex and money. They f**k you and then take your money.

Well, I've had my season tickets for 27 years, so I've never had to deal with TAF. I'm a member just to help TAF build LSU facilities and to increase my priority for Bowl Game tickets.

The LSU ticket procedure has never changed much. There is a waiting list and you move up in order. Very recently they have started using priority points so that contributors to TAF get a litttle edge. Since the Tradition Fund came around recently, LSU ticket holders pay about the same surcharge as TAF average ticket holders. So its a way to get you to pay more for more priority.

As far as the TAF ticket procedure, according to a friend of mine who got hers through TAF, is that you can always donate more than the minimum and get your priority raised significantly. She paid enough to get her tickets right away.

If you are a TAF member, I would not be asking on an anonymous forum. I'd call someone at TAF and ask for a clear explanation. If you are a member, you are entitled.
