After the last 2 weeks, my clients are beginning to wonder about my future as an Advisor to. You know I respect you Red, but check back with me in about 5 years. I just think he'll be average at best. He has more physical tools than any QB I've seen, even more than Elway, but I just dont think he has it upstairs. Not saying he is dumb, just doesnt seem to read or judge as well and I have never felt like he took his job as serious as the best ones do. Anyway, we wont know for a few years. We can revisit this later. I do hope he does well; Hell he is a Tiger right? Man I cant wait till next Thursday!! Anyone else feel like time has stood still this week? Geaux Tigers!!
Well, Russell improved every year he was at LSU. There is no evidence that this will stop. He would have been perhaps an even better QB if he had not left early, but you really can't beat #1. The Raiders could have worse problems than having a talent like Russell, who still has room to improve.
Maybe he could have been #1 for a different team. That is the only problem with being the #1 pick, odds are that you're going to the worst team from a year ago. You just hope that they are smarter than the raiders.
