just curious, but what did Van do wrong? He can't make FTs (the team was 5-11 on the day) and he can't force Syl to do a layup instead of trying to dunk.

 

That's ok...I hear the VanChancellor is looking at the Michigan job...

 

Just like the last couple of years this team plays good defense but offensively is very limited.

 

I agree with you but his players didn't know to foul when they missed the shot at the end of the game. They ran the clock down from about 25 seconds to under 10 just sitting there defending instead of fouling. Then, after they missed the free throw if they had a timeout they should have taken it, but even if they didn't, they should have had some idea of a play they could run. There was 7.3 seconds left and all they got was a desperation three.

I probably shouldn't have said horrible coaching but coaching mistakes downt the stretch. Now i didn't see the whole game but the last 35 seconds the team looked lost. Don't you agree?
