"I wasn't near good enough to play for my favorite team...so I went elsewhere."

  3. Funny and probably true. :thumb:
  4. Tack it up!
  5. Well he only has to see it for 2-3 more years.

Perhaps we should all chip in and buy him the NCG dvd from last year, so he doesn't forget what he could not get himself?
  6. Boom.

I can appreciate the pain a kid who grows up an LSU fan must feel when he's not offered a scholarship and has to go elsewhere. Of course he wants to prove the home team wrong.

But don't try and act like you just stopped liking LSU.
  7. Hahnville is purple and gold. He got confused.

  8. and they are the tigers as well. poor kid is all mixed up.

    well no kidding.
  9. My dad grew up in Hammond and loved LSU. He wanted, badly, to be offered a football scholarship from the Tigers when he graduated in 1960. He was an offensive lineman and undersized at that position, even for then (5'11", 200.)

Ole Miss offered him both a football and baseball scholarship, and he'd have played for Johnny Vaught and been a two-sport athlete. However, he couldn't bear to turn traitor and play for LSU's biggest rival. He went to Southern Miss, instead.
  10. as did my cousin who despises LSU. took me awhile to figure out it was because LSU never offered.

he denies thats the reason but his demons are transparent.:lol:
