you know what? He's right. For as much free-reign as the government gives the NCAA as a non-profit institution (which is laughable in this muti-Billion dollar day and age) i'm surprised more attorney generals from affected states haven't made serious moves in this direction. Every team in every sport in every division has an honest, acctual oppertunity at making the title game. Except the one that makes quintuple the revenue what the others do.

Strike when the irons hot. Every year a team who gets snubbed complains to somebody. Didn't Georgia cry last year? I know Tulane did back in the beginning. It's the reason Utah was even allowed in the BCS game at all.

exactly! it was cowan that got on a tear about it, and anti-trust was one of his main arguments.

PURPLE TIGER HOPE is not a strategy!

I was pulling for them but now he sounds like the whiner from Tulane.

How much money did the school just make from playing in the Sugar Bowl? Aren't the special rules the reason they received a BCS bid?

Short of a playoff we don't need rule changes every year. We already diminished stregth of schedule because one BCS school plays in a wek conference now we need to make exceptions when a school is undefeated?

I quess Tulane was the best team in the country when they were undefeated. :dis:

true. to me, this is a pol that is making point with fans (or trying to), just like the texas rep that was going to try to get a bill passed or something like that.

i have nothing against the fans or school and am still glad they won.

I don't either, and I would vote them #2 after it's all said and done. I just don't like a guy all of a sudden making a fuss as soon as his own state team does something good and get's snubbed. Gimme a break.
