Those of us who live out of state and/or don't have access to regular detailed LSU news really appreciate any insight we can pick up on TF.

Particularly about college baseball which doesn’t get much coverage in most markets.

anyone know if they started practicing in the new box? They were supposed to start this past Tuesday, but they were still in the old box Tuesday afternoon.

As of last week the field was 98%, the seats and boxes were 95% and the only big hold up was the parking lots walkways outside, which were supposed to be at about 85-90%.

I drove by after class at around 7PM on Tuesday and someone was having batting practice.

Well I guess Chad isn't in the doghouse with CPM. Hopefully he can contribute as DH while he focuses on football. The more I keep looking at the roster compared to other schools (especially in the SEC,) the more I cannot wait for Feb. 20. This team will be sick. CPM to me is a guy who can bring out the most in any player. Skip was more of a motivator as far as I can tell, but CPM seems to be able to coach anyone. I'm not bashing Skip, just giving high-praise to Mainieri.

I noticed the new scoreboard was up yesterday. It looks huge! Its behind the left field wall instead of the right field wall like the old one.

So who gets cut if Chad Jones makes the 35 man roster?
