“He has the talent to be a 26-foot long jumper, a 50-foot plus triple jumper and a 7-6 high jumper,” Doan said. “And who knows what he might do in the 300 hurdles? He’s going to get bigger and stronger, so it’s pretty scary what he could do.”

Many think that as good as Hunter is in football, his future could be in track. Norfolk State jumper and former Booker T. Washington standout Marlon Woods watched Hunter at last week’s region meet. He left amazed by Hunter’s ability and even more impressed by his humility.

“He’s going to be a great jumper,” said Woods, who earned All-America honors at this past NCAA indoor meet. “And when he gets to LSU, he’s going to get even better. He definitely has a future in track. But as good as he is, he doesn’t brag.”

Hunter takes it all in stride. He loves all three sports, but admits football and track are his favorite. Asked where he sees himself in six years, he answered, “Hopefully, playing NFL football and preparing for the Olympics.”

That's from just a film evaluation to, right? Their rankings go up significantly when they're evaluated in person (especially when they're freaks of nature like Hunter).

Hunter squashes rumors:

The 6-foot-4, 185-pound wideout informed TigerRag.com those rumors were exactly that, just rumors.
“I’m solid to LSU,” Hunter confirmed. “I do not know where these people get their information. Maybe they’re saying that because LSU is still recruiting other receivers and because I’m a receiver and committed early they think it bothers me.
“That’s not true at all though,” Hunter added. “I’m still going to LSU..”

He is a 25-foot long-jumper and a 7-foot high-jumper. Many football and track coaches agree that he might be the best pure multisport athlete to come out of South Hampton Roads. That’s saying a lot when you consider this area has produced Percy Harvin, DeAngelo Hall and Plaxico Burress.

“The thing that makes schools want him so bad is his height, his explosiveness and unprecedented agility for his size,” Dolphins coach Chris Scott said. “And after coaching him a couple of years, he still hasn’t even tipped the iceberg with the things that he can accomplish.” Hunter has been chosen to play in the 2010 Under Armour All-American game Jan. 2 in Orlando.

I do not see him jumping up that far to make a 5* slot. Hard to tell who is better of the 2 since they are not the same type of WRs.

Hunter says he is done with visits...

“I thought about it,” Hunter said of taking other visits. “But then I thought about how I was committed to LSU and I decided not to waste my time going on other visits.
“Another reason why I decided not to was because the LSU coaches were not too happy about it when I first told them what I wanted to do. After talking to them and some other people I realized it didn’t make sense because LSU is where I want to go.”
