Georgia Coach upset with umpires in series loss to LSU From the Monday online edition of the Athens Banner Herald The link: http://onlineathens.com/stories/040609/bas_426256891.shtml ldskule::tigbas:
sour grapes, eh? :hihi: it's not like this is the first, or last, time that any game has had unfavorable calls. LSU has been on the receiving end of bad calls A LOT this season, and i never heard CPM crying about it.
the strikezone was awful in the series. But it was awful for both teams, so in a case like that, usually, it's the losing manager who is more frustrated and thus expresses his anger more. Perno's a class act from what I got out of him when I met him last year.
A Georgia coach having complaints because his team didn't win what they thought they "deserved?" Say it ain't true!!
Makes sense to me. The Ooh-la-la game comes to mind as well. Hanagriff was beside himself about the umps in that game. Very inconsistent for both teams.
Admittedly I only watched one game and even commented to Mike how bad the umps seemed, BUT it is much more fun to make fun of GA coaches...
