This game represents everything that's wrong with college football. I don't know what was more pathetic: the complete lack of effort on defense, or the talking heads proclaiming this as a "great game". Maybe a great basketball game, but at no point did I see anything resembling football. Horse. Shit.
I'm with you 100%. That ain't football. That's chucking the ball around in your back yard where everyone goes long every play.
It's unreal is what it was, it wasn't hard to watch but it was a disgusting effort on defense by both teams. Anyone who thinks either of these teams could contend for a championship is mentally retarded.
Right, that didnt even resemble a football game. They should both be playing in a 7 on 7 league. A putrid game to watch, no one even tried to fake playing defense.
But, But, But look at the score! Ain't it great? Could've been a great game! That is, if we make one offense play the other--because clearly there were no defensive players on the field today.
I know it was insane. No defense, etc. Don't even know if they know what that is up there, but still... you gotta give a bit of credit to both offenses, especially WVU's. Pretty good stuff there, but as everyone already knows, useless in a championship/against a good team if you don't have that other thing......
