Its been around for quite a few years so it must be pretty popular. They have it every year in the old Steinberg's Sporting Goods store building.
We passed by there after the game Saturday (contraflow took us right in front of it) and there were probably 20-30 people in line then.
Do they give a discount for being black? In the 80s I went to a bar one Halloween. It was very crowded and I had managed to get up close enough to the bar to order a drink when a very large black man started leaning on me and bumping into me. I pushed back and some hostile words were exchanged. Now this guy was huge. Looked to be about 6'8' 250 at least. I'm thinking this guy is going to kill me. It turned out he was a friend of mine who had made himself up to look like a black man. He was pretty tall anyway and with the big afro wig and platform heel shoes he looked a lot bigger.
