1st home game losses

    The only one in recent memory that I can think of is that damn Monday night game. We should of put that off till the end of the season.

    Yep. Tennessee 2005. That's all I got, but I'm pretty sure we dropped one to TAMU in the early 90s at home. Just not sure if it was the opener...but I think it was.

    And yet, not as bad as the 80's for home opener losses.

    I graduated LSU in '84. I sat in the student section for those three jewels.Heck, the first play of 1980 was a fumble when Risher and Gajan got mixed up on a handoff.

    Tomorrow will be the latest scheduled home opener since '93 which also was the same date of the home opener in 1982 which was also the season opener as well.

    Can you imagine now if the season didn't even start until tomorrow ?

    To put it in the big picture, Miles is 25-1 in nite games in Tiger Stadium. I don't think this game will change that trend. :geauxtige :geaux: :LSU231:
