When LSU beat Florida in basketball Tuesday night it clinched more than a share of the 2009 Southeastern Conference title.

It made LSU the first school in SEC history to pull off a "triple double" - winning double-digit championships in football, men's basketball and baseball, according to the school's athletic department.

its funny that by this measure LSU basketball is as successful as LSU football.

it should also be mentioned that only one other school has 10 championships in TWO of the three (bama)

Basketball: 1.KY 43 2. LSU 10

Football: 1. Bama 21 2. TN 13 3. GA 12 4. LSU 10

Baseball 1. Bama 14 2. LSU 13

Hopefully we will move to #1 in baseball in a few months!
