1. 1st team: Whitworth on offense. Williams, and Wroten on defense.

2nd team: Niswanger, Skyler Green, and Landry.

    Honorable Mention: Livings and Russell.

Ol' Ball Coach of the Year: Darth Visor

    2005 All-SEC team
  2. So I guess we can count on Landry coming back next season? I sure hope so.
  3. I hope you are right!
  4. He should. His stats were way down this year.
  5. Shockley deserved the POY much more then Cutler
  6. I'm glad for him, but Whitworth on the first team kinda surprises me this year. He actually hurt his draft status by coming back this season. Was projected late first early second last year, now it looks like late second at best. Of course it is still early.

Almost like he wasn't there mentally at times. He led the team in presnap penalties.

I'm glad for him, and wish him the best.
  7. Good stuff. Congrats guys!

And I wish freshmen could go pro, b/c that McFadden kid was awesome.
  8. This All-SEC team sadly reflects what it took most Tiger fans all year to realize: LSU has no playmakers on offense! And we've wondered why the offense has sputtered?! Seriously, name one time this year when a WR has caught a pass and run for substantial yards after the catch. Name one time a RB has busted a long one.

Urgh! It's frustrating, I tell you!

I'm so angry at our wide receivers for not getting open consistently against man coverage, and for not being able to hang on to the ball or make any WOW!-type plays. Heck, even Early D's game winner at Arizona State wasn't even a catch! He never had it cleanly!

Hurrah for winning 10 with lousy skill players. Who will step up in '06?

  9. Why don't you tell us how you really feel?
  10. He's going to be a major success in the NFL and the scouts know it. Whitworth doesn't let his man sack the quarterback. He holds like a pro.
