I like Shilling. He had close to 40 pitches the first 2 innings. He's been cruising ever since.

How in the hell do you picked off by 3 feet. Holliday just had a huge brain fart. Helton in the batter's box and you get picked...WTF ?

So far, the Rockies can't handle the Japs. I'm gonna turn the channel now and watch the military channel and get even with the yellow devils.

I was embarassingly wrong about Schilling. Dude's a legend out there. Sure I've seen him do it before, but I just didn't feel he still 'had it.' Here's me eating crow...

Sox now up 2-0, going to Colorado Saturday night for game 3. Good luck, Sox!

Hawpe, sorry it had to be you taking the last strike of the game...

Both Bullpens were amazing last night. Rarely will a 2-1 game in the 5th stay that way with the lumber those teams bring. Great game.

    Sox fan since 1975

Great point, Tex. At that point in the game, I actually almost texted my dad to tell him the Sox would still put up between 8-10 runs. I would have been way off there, too.

Red Sox and Cubs fan since '79, the year the legend was born.

Dice-K comes up with a 2 run single! Who knew the guy could hit? Had a pretty nice stroke on it too.

Hawpe, with 7 strike outs in the world series so far (yikes) just hit an RBI to put the Rockies on the board...
