Tech, Tulane and The University of Lafayette Louisiana . . . all in the same season. It's going to kill our strength of schedule.

Pretty soft schedule. Kind of pegging the cupcake meter IMO. Hope we get someone strong for the open 17 Oct date but I doubt it. I hope Georgia and Bama on the road add to the strength on the schedule.

Maybe Nutt will geaux on a recruiting spree in the off season. :hihi:

Only 1 bye week? Is everyone going to have this or is the second bye in week 1 (Aug 29)?

I disagree. I think that it is a great schedule. We have an away game against a PAC-10 team and we get our seven home games. The games are staggered well as far as splitting up the difficult games. We have a few easy games to get the kinks out, then a small streak of tough games (MSU, UGA, FL), then there is a break after every tough game from there on out. Looks like a good schedule to get into the SECC game.

I can see where season ticket holders might be a bit miffed though with four of the home games being somewhat easy. But is it ever any different? This year there are only two really tough games at home (UGA and Bummer). Last year was one of the better years as far as home games, but it was an anomaly.

This trend in LSU athletics is starting to bother me. Then again Duke was known as having the easiest OOC schedule every year so it isnt completely surprising.
