1. 3* QB out of SC who list LSU as one of his 5 favorites along with UNC, FSU, Tenn, and ND.

Not sure when he plans to make it to campus but I hope he comes during the summer. UNC looks like the team to beat due to distance and both of his parents are Alums.

Also holds offers from UF, UK, Texas Tech, Stanford, Arizona St., and East Carolina.

  2. Strong, accurate arm and a thin, lanky frame that could use about 25-30 pounds of bulk/muscle. The scary thing to me, based on that video (and I'm not a QB coach, I only play one on the internet), is that his mechanics look pretty ragged. Looks like he's got a 3/4 over the top throwing motion, not quite a true sidearm, but he's got to get the arm up over the head. He doesn't get the legs into the throw either. Notice how his back foot is up in the air on release, rather than toes in the turf pushing off. A project, IMO, but one with a lot of raw material for a QB coach to work with.

BTW, I wonder if anyone's recruiting #84. He looks like a player at WR.

  3. Pretty good review and I compared it to his junior videos and it doesn't look as pronounced as his Soph year. His heel goes up still but it looks like he is pushing off with his toes and getting the ball a little higher over his head at least on the longer throws.

Looks bigger in his junior film as well.
  4. Bump
  5. Heard a QB from SC had a great workout at LSU recently and that LSU liked him over all 4 of the instate QB's. This coming from one of the 4 instate guys.
    Is this the QB?
  6. He was here but I actually heard different. Didn't separate himself from the bunch from what I understand.

Actually heard Oliver and Douglas were pretty close and had slightly better camp performances. Oliver was the most consistent and threw a great ball but Douglas had the stronger arm.

Neither earned offers and I wouldn't expect LSU to accept a commit from Worley if he wanted to. I think the staff wants to take their time and maybe focus on one QB in this class now that there is a great chance Lee is staying at LSU. But if we had more scholarships available we would take 2 IMO.
  7. Did you hear how the other 2 looked?
  8. Only thing I heard was that Prescott was the most athletic of the bunch. Nothing on Ensminger...
  9. Ensminger? What about Leppert?
  10. If Leppert was there I didn't hear about it.

Ensminger is the son of new LSU Coach Steve Ensminger and was at the camp.
