Out of Patterson High School and really focused on LSU and A&M at tis point. Been to both campuses multiple times over the last month or so. He came in for a visit with his family this week. Weird recruitment so far. Committed to A&M then the next day visits LSU and opens it back up and now commits to Florida. Not sure what is going to happen but LSU will stay on it.
A UF recruiting site quotes Tommy Minton as saying LP's family has pushed for him to go out-of-state throughout the process. LSU generally gets the kids it wants from St. Mary Parish, but they have to want LSU too.

That's the article I was talking about. Spoke to Tommy Minton yesterday, and he said don't be surprised if Phillips flip-flops on the decision, even more than one more time before NSD. He seems to fall in love with every school he visits. But it won't be LSU; LP says he really wants to go to school out-of-state.
