Temp will be back up in the 90's. Too hot for ducks.

Going bow fishing with someone who doesn't know where to find them. But it's his boat. Good luck us.

I was in a bar one night and a guy I knew asked me if I wanted to go fishing with him and his buddy at Grande Isle. It turned out that his buddy, who was sucking down gin and tonics had a small plane they were taking. I saw the guy a few weeks later so I know they did make it back alive.

Not for teal it's not. There are a lot down.

That is something Iwould love to do. You have experience? With the light refraction, it's not as easy as it appears, I read.

Place I am invited to hunt has no water so I have nowhere to hunt as of now.

I used to shoot garfish with a .22. Had to learn to adjust for the refraction when they were below the surface but if you can catch them when they roll at the surface it's a straight shot. Just have to be able to aim and shoot real quick before they go back under.

Are there separate seasons now for the different species of ducks? My fuzzy memory tells me that teals where the most difficult duck to shoot. Low & fast. I also shot gar with a .22

There is a special season for Teal. Later there is a "Big duck" season but you can shoot teal then, also. After woodies, most people like Teal next- for eating.

As for shot difficulty, they're the smallest, fly very low and fast and twist & turn but decoy very well.
