Were we watching the same tournament? Great charge by Spieth that tied the record for the last day of the Masters. Late charge by Fowler and Reed did just enough to hang on.

Reed went to high school in Baton Rouge. He was born in Houston and went to college at Augusta State. I don't know how long he lived in Baton Rouge or if he has any ties to here. Is that too tenuous a connection for me to root for him?

Yeah, I knew about Reed’s BR connection, but don’t know if he has any sense of connection to it anymore. He’s a guy that gets pumped to represent the US in Ryder Cup, so that alone was enough to get me to root for him.

Well, here’s an interesting read, not sure about the accuracy of some of the college accusations. Interesting that Augusta St immediately won championships after his transfer from UGA.
