Of the two sports I follow closely for LSU (football and baseball) neither have EVER (solid run of 20 years with elite talent) had a reason to blame talent. CPM has a reason to complain IMO as the SEC is LOADED with talent in baseball. Far more parity than in football. Sure, there are area's where maybe the talent isn't what we want, however it is generally top 3 in the SEC always. Over the last 5 years its not really debatable for LSU in comparison to the SEC. Take the national championship game for an example. Did Saban "lack" talent to get blown out? No, he got his ass out-coached. Now, the difference in Bama's staff and ours is we get out-coached more than they do. In before the obvious "Bama has more talent than us". Yea they do, but as far as I saw, we were the only team to not fucking score on them. Wait. My bad. Us and MSU didn't score on them. Yea thats right, MSU manged to have a worse offense than us. Who could blame them with a team full of 3*'s.... In any-case, we lack serious creativity and it was present even in the bowl game. When the field is short (redszone) we blow. Almost let a school full of 2 and 3 stars have something to cheer about.
