Does anyone know where I can find the sound byte of the song that the LSU band plays when it is 3rd down for LSU? I have the geaux tigers cheer and 4th down cheer but I cant find the 3rd down. If anyone can help with this, I'd really appreciate it!!!!

2rd Down Cheer

Did you know we had a 2nd down cheer?
I heard that toon a million times and never knew it was for 2nd down

Unless you find someone with a soundbyte from a televised game, we have never recorded it. The recordings of the other cheers come from when the Tigerband used to have a seperate recording from Tigerama in November.(Which by the way is in the PMAC this year so lots more fans can come. It's the thursday before the Ole Miss game!) Now that we get our highlight cd straight from Tigerama we don't have the cheers on them. This started the same year the we started playing the third down cheer so its never been officially recorded by us! Sorry! Be sure to make it to Tigerama this year though, It's a show you don't want to miss! It features the LSU Wind Ensemble with some excellent pieces and then Tigerband comes in and plays the highlights from the season and all the school songs. It's only one night this year because it is now in the PMAC! Thanx again.

It is scheduled for Nov. 20th right? I will be there. I would also like to take the time to say that I think the LSU band is the best around. They do an excellent job of getting the crowd hyped up for the game and keeping them in the game. I am a TAF member and I look forward to the Pre-Game parties and listening to the band perform. Thanks for all the entertainment and great music. I'll see ya'll on Nov. 20th!!!

Oh, other than the Songs of LSU CD, are there any other CD's that are for sale by the LSU band?
