Dwyer High (Fla.) OL Patrick Miller just gave LSU great news. One of the top guys in this LSU class IMO. #23 rated OT in the country with offers from Auburn, Bama, UF, FSU, Miami, Tenn, South Carolina, and ND. Wasn't expecting it to go down do early but it was pretty clear that LSU and Auburn were the top 2. With that offer list and when more film comes I think he will be moving up the rankings but likely stay a 4*. 6'7 265 4.9

LSU has been in the lead for almost a month now despite what the AU boards were saying. He has family near New Orleans. Billy and Miles left huge impressions on him. The biggest factor could honestly be the hunting and fishing that LA offers. Not kidding
Very nice, love to get the big uglies. When you look at the realistically available OT's we have done very well with the St.Aug boy and now him. Ninety percent of the other guys were from states we really don't have a good shot at because of the distance. This kid is very lean, hardly any fat and moves well. I also think the OT's in high school are generally superior to the OG's who are usually shorter and smaller. I think it is a good strategy to convert the OT's to OG's and grab the superior athlete in most cases. Very important pickup, we always have DB's galore, WR's, RB's, but quality offensive lineman are not overly abundant.
LSU staff wants him at about 300 which would be perfect with his frame. He wouldn't lose much speed or burst. So he needs about 35-40 pounds which is no problem once Moffit gives him a food plan and gets him in for the summer. I also believe he is going to be yet another early enrollee.
Is this kid likely to be switched over to OG? Usually, I thought we liked our OTs a little bigger than 300, and we also already have Derek Edinburgh who is a monster and are targeting Vadal Alexander still. Regardless, this kid has a nice frame to work with.
