49 pairs of shoes?

Sorry if this has been brought up but, how in the world does an student athelete have 49 pairs of shoes? I think i have about 4 or 5 pairs of shoes at the most. Not saying there needs to be a limit but 49 seems like quite a bit. Also, I don't see how they can run DNA on 49 pairs of shoes before next saturday.

 

kind of makes you wonder how a student athlete can afford 49 pairs of shoes. Hopefully that falls into items that the school is allowed to furnish an athlete with, hell I don't know. Wonder what his off campus apartment looked like.

 

you guys know where they come from. it can only be from one of two sources.

 

He probably got all of them from local thrift stores. I doubt they were brand new Jordans or anything.

 

it costs about the same as getting a couple of cases of beer a month.

 

Some people collect shoes. Some collect memorabilia. Some collect DVDs. Some buy drugs. Some buy bottles of liquor, etc.

Every black friend I have ever had has had at least 30 pairs of shoes. Some of them could afford em some couldn't. It is a cultural thing.
