Yes, it feels like yesterday--not that I know, since it happened long before I was born.

LOL! Sh!t, I'm only 23 so I have NO remembrance whatsoever of Canon's run, but he is our only Heisman. Too bad it was almost two generations ago. :geaux:

I was at that game selling 7UP.

 

My grandfather that just passed away this past January still spoke of this game with a gleam in his eye until his last few days. The details he remembered were phenomenal. He considered it the greatest sports moment he had ever seen. And this was coming from a man who got to see such baseball greats as Lou Gehrig, Joe Dimaggio, Mickey Mantle, and Willie Mays play in person.
