1. Chad Jones in all probability WILL commit to LSU. However, he has made it clear that baseball is his firt love and he will go pro if he is drafted high enough. Maybe Jared Mitchell can talk to him.
  2. Miles seems to have done a good job selling playing 2 sports at the same time to quite a few athletes now, plus we have Jared Mitchell & Chris Jackson that are good examples. I think as long as he isn't drafted in the first 3 rounds/offered an absolutely impossible amount of money to turn down - we have a fairly good chance of getting him on campus.

But if we don't, we have a couple other really good athletes that could be safety prospects on the board that we're recruiting as well.
  3. I think we end up with 2 or 3 five star players. The player I want most is McKnight. Although, if I knew we had a good shot at Devine, I'd want him just as badly.
  4. I agree, we are loaded at the skill positions but extremely thin on the OL. OL needs to be the primary recruiting focus for the next couple of years IMO.
  5. There are no OLinemen ranked 5 stars (could be wrong here, but pretty sure).
  6. If we get Jones, McKnight and Tolliver we will have one of the top two recruiting classes in 2007.
  7. 8- 5 star listed by scout and 4 by rivals
  8. Assuming you're talking about OLine, yea I looked it up myself & saw that earlier... whoops.

But only one of those, Ziemba - a 5 star according to Scout, was LSU ever recruiting.
  9. Yes LSU isn't in on many big timers but they don't have to get the best just good high quality and in significant numbers we are getting thin.
  10. Joe Mcknight down to Clemson, USC, and LSU.
