The 50th Anniversary of the 1958 season is quietly approaching. Talk of uni tweaks for the Tulane game has got me thinking of what might be done for next season. I would like to see the Tigers go for a '58 retro look for the whole season: numbers on the helmets and the full UCLA shoulder stripes instead of the sissy half-stripes we have now.

I'm sure we'll see some other season long tributes too, any ideas?

In '58 were the numbers on the shoulders or the sleeves?

I'd be in favor of throwbacks for one game (a lot of teams have done it), but not for a full season.

Homecoming? Old Miss? I kinda like paying tribute for a season. Or do we act like we're supposed to win MNCs regularly?
