You got one group of people voting on how teams are playing NOW and the other side is voting weekly according to how they think teams will finish at the end of the year. This difference really adds some confusion.
They didn't beat Michigan, who is at 25 in the AP, but according the CCW they lost because of the officials and played close. Shouldn't that be enough to warrant a top 10 or 5 ranking. I mean they are freaking Notre Dame, why shouldn't they be ranked in the top 5?:wave::wave:
I was surprised that LSU moved up to #7. I look for them or any other teams to sink like a rock if they lose...it's an admission of over ranking in the first place. The writers and coaches never really watch all those games anyway. They just arbitrarily move teams around in the polls. What I think is crazy is that people take these polls this early in the season seriously in the first place. Why it's almost as crazy as taking the author of this article seriously...what's so special about his opinion...why, he's just an opinionated blowhard...He's just as much of one as I am !!! :hihi:.
Meh. I don't think we look like a top ten ranked team, actually. But then, outside of about the top few teams, no one's looked like a top ten team. Certainly not ND. The ND homerism has gotten so bad the past few years that even sister who is an ND alum can't stand them.
