I watched the damn game on the internet until A&M gave up the lead 5-3, then decided to take a shower. Now I am pissed I missed it. But I got happy real quick......SR to BR!!!!!!
I started listening to it on WJBO and couldn't figure out which team hit the grand slam for like 30 seconds. Not knowing the players on the team made it pretty tough to listen to the radio announcers narrate the action until they said aTm up 7-5 going into the bottom of the 9th.
These announcers started to get dilirious and were questioning just about every balls and strikes call. It was pretty pathethic from the 7th inning on. They were getting really nervous I think and it showed with their broadcast of the game. Not sure if the radio broadcast were the same ones as those on the video stream they had.
A grand slam by the #9 hitter, eh? And I have the Rice Athletic Department ticket office on speed-dial, too. :wink: Oh well, there's always ESPN for me, plus beating the Ags is always nice in any sport!
