1. He was the fastest by far of all the RB's that chose to run at the combine.

  2. Good for Joe. He ran real fast at the LSU pro day last year as well.
  3. Didn't he see some time as a receiver? At least, that's what I do to him when I play NCAA06! :D
  4. Geaux Jeaux !!!! Couldn't happen to a nicer guy who left it all on the field for L S U !!!!!
  5. What a nice guy.

I knew he was fast/quick, but not 40 fast! For his size, the boy has wheels.
  6. ESPN'S John Clayton chimes in:

    Quote:

Rush to glory: The big winners among the running backs who ran at the combine on the first day were Joseph Addai of LSU and Maurice Drew of UCLA. Drew ran a 4.36 in the 40-yard dash, even though his thighs are so muscular they look like they were pumped up with air. Addai ran a 4.4, but some had him at 4.37. Addai may have moved himself into the first round with his efforts at the combine on Saturday. Reggie Bush didn't run.

  7. The best thing in the world that could happen for him is if Pittsburgh takes him with the 32nd pick.. 1st round money, high quality team that loves to run the ball..
  8. I could see New England taking him. Corey Dillon is getting old and Kevin Faulk are getting up there in age. Plus, we all know Belicheck's affinity for LSU players.
  9. You HONESTLY don't believe Belichick needs ANYONE "behind the scenes" on draft day do you??? That's rich!

Where do you think Saban learned his defense?? Under Belichick that's where--not the other way around.

If the Patriots want a player, and he's available, Robert Kraft and Bill don't need anyone making phone calls trying to convience them.
  10. Hell...I certainly wouldn't mind it! :thumb: But the Boston Globe is running reports that Jamal Lewis could land in New England as a free agent (due to the fact that with a free agent class consisting of Shawn Alexander, Ahman Green, Edgerrin James AND Jamal Lewis, the price tag for Lewis might not be as steep as one would think).
