I was watching the Arizona St/Oregon St game tonight and there was a fumble at the goal line by AS and a OS player recovered. One official signaled a TD and another signaled breifly OS ball. They called it a TD but went to the replay booth. The play stood because the replay evidence couldn't refute the call of a TD, BUT...if the call on the field had been fumble it could have just as easily been OS ball. So by calling it a TD first by one official gave the advantage to AS. I'm wondering how they determined the call on the field when two officials clearly gave different calls. Just a meandering mind on a Saturday night... :hihi:
