1. Unless this kid is a head case, has skeletons in the closet or gets hurt he may very well be the next QB starter at LSU after Jeaux. I am basing this on his videos and on him passing the eye test. Needs to add 15 to 20 lbs but I really see something in this kid.

If I am wrong we will have a very good backup.
  2. Puleez.

Can you imagine the Game Day signs?

  5. Yep the jokes will abound hope my hunch is right and he's not a joke on the gridiron
  6. Brandon Harris film looked good too. AJ is a walk on for a reason. Let’s just hope we recruit and develop a high caliber QB the way a school like LSU.

And can we just enjoy the development of Burrow before we start the “what if carousel” of LSU QB’s?

  7. I am enjoying Jeaux and didnt say he would replace Jeaux. My have overshot. Let's just say he may get a shot at QB with us and play. Keep in mind we didn't offer Jake Delhomme or Brett Farve.

We shall see I like him.

  8. Kiki I appreciate your eye for talent and your continued positive outlook on this team. If AJ is the real deal then let the kid ball. But I still hope we recruit and develop QB’s moving forward now that we’ve moved to a more spread offense.

  9. Of course we recruit great QB's. We have commitments from 2 now. But if you find a diamond in the rough then that's lagniappe.

  10. Nope, we do not recruit great ones. Great ones are developed and qb development has been THE most glaring deficit over the last decade, at least. Met now JB, both transfers and the book is still out on JB. Though looking good so far, definitely not us to take any credit. Hell, he may be teaching our coaches things.
