Yesterdays practice QB rotation was McMillan, Brennan, Narcisse and Burrow. Yet from the reports I hear Burrow has a much better grasp of the offense and feel for the position than the others. What gives? If Burrow is really the man shouldn't he be getting the majority of reps with the number 1s? There is a big game only 20 days away.
There are always going to be some minor injuries in fall camp. Greedy Williams was out but now he's back. Was wearing the no contact jersey. I can't panic unless somebody has a serious boo boo. We are going to have a great defense. That could be the saving grace to the season. There are a lot more question marks on the offensive side of the ball.
I think o is being to give the impression that Joe earned the position and not just given to him... That being said, I agree with you that if Joe is that much better, he should be getting the reps with the ones... 20 days and counting .. geaux...
I wouldn't read too much into it. No sience in doing a full contact scrimmage if you got a nik in practice. If they dont practice this week, then we can be worried.
